Andre & Shantel were married at the Hot House venue on African Leaves Trout Lodge. It was around the same time that Cyclone Dineo hit the east coast of South Africa. It was windy, cold and it felt as if the rain would never stop. Shantel never gave up and kept praying for the skies to clear, as they did not have a back-up plan for their outside wedding ... But they trusted in the Lord and He delivered, 30 mins before the ceremony all the rain stopped, and they were blessed with a beautiful day, and some of the most dramatic clouds to fill the background for their couple photos. This was our first time filming at the charming Around the World Wedding and Function Venue, just outside Potchefstroom ( We hope to do many more weddings here). It is a great day when you don't have to direct a couple in any way. Every time Ian Frylinck and Angelique Frylinck looked in each other's eyes magic happend.
